Frances V. Barclay


Frances V. Phillips Barclay, 96, of Waynesburg, PA, died at 10:00 PM Saturday, February 04, 2017, in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg.
 She was born Sunday, March 28, 1920 in Waynesburg. She was the daughter of the late James Phillips and Florence Gump Phillips.
  Mrs.  Barclay was a member of the First Christian Church of Waynesburg. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She also did painting by numbers and enjoyed doing cross word puzzles. She was a homemaker.    
 Her Husband: William Harold Barclay whom she married on June 04, 1938 died January 12, 1981.
              Surviving are 1 Daughter: Nancy (Patrick) Lemley, of Salisbury, MD., 2 Sons: Samuel R.(Dora) Barclay, of Waynesburg, PA., and Terry W. (Donna) Barclay, of Raleigh, NC., 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.
 Deceased 1 Sister: Lucille Tennant, 2  Brothers: James Phillips, and Charles Phillips
 Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the time of the service on Tuesday, February 07, 2017 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N. Maiden St Waynesburg, PA 15370.  Burial will be in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg, PA.  Information is online at
